William A. Morgan Foundation

for Environmental Excellence

The William A. Morgan Foundation hosted its second annual celebration at noon on Monday October 3, at the Valhalla estate in South Lake Tahoe, California.  This year’s event showcased the historic Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009, which added 2 million acres to the National Wilderness Preservation System and protected 1,000 miles of river as “wild and scenic.”

Foundation president Craig Morgan presented an overview of 2009 Act and video presentation highlighting some of the more significant aspects of the land management law while attendees enjoyed lunch within Valhalla’s Grand Hall.

The Foundation thanks all of those who attended this event and looks forward to seeing you at next year’s event.
